CELEBRATING 6 YEARS
We are a community of families dedicated to fostering a Classical Christian homeschool environment that offers academic assistance, social interaction, spiritual support, and holistic care. Our gatherings take place three times a week at Compass Church in the lovely town of East Northport.
PURPOSE
PEL Prep, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, exists to partner with parents to provide a classical, Christian education that disciples and equips our children in Truth, Goodness, and Beauty for joyful submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. We aim to help parents implement curriculum that nurtures the heart, mind, and soul, preparing students to think deeply, communicate clearly, and serve faithfully in every area of life. PEL strives to equip homeschool parents to cultivate wisdom, moral virtue, and a lifelong love of learning, ensuring that their children have all that they need to shape the culture with the Truth of the Gospel and evaluate all human knowledge and experience in light of the Scriptures.

The vision of PEL Prep Ministries is to be an enduring Christ-centered organization that equips homeschool families for God’s purposes by meeting a variety of educational (Prov. 22:6) and relational (II Peter 1:5-8) needs while connecting with the broader community to further God’s kingdom. (Acts 1:8)
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
II Peter 1:5-8 But also, for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
PEL Prep combines four distinctive elements
Gospel-centered worldview
Classical curriculum
Collaborative Learning
Cultivation of joyful discovery
Each student is important to us at PEL Prep, and we see the part we play in their education as a true privilege. Read on to find out more about the benefits of our courses, or contact us to learn more.

PEL PREP will equip students to become discerning scholars, faithful leaders, compassionate servants, and instruments of light to the Long Island area and beyond.
PEL PREP seeks to partner with parents to prepare students for a lifelong pursuit of learning through classical methodology and joyful discovery; developing depth of character, wisdom, and a desire to engage their world for the glory of God.

VISION
To inspire each member of our community to live a life empowered by the gospel.
For the word of the Lord is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8
